Expect to run in all kinds of winter weather conditions as part of the Beyond in Battle Creek Training Program and dress accordingly. In general, we will align with Battle Creek YMCA closing and closings will be announced on WWMT (channel 3).
If we do have to cancel a run, we will send a text alert and post to the Kalamazoo Area Runners In Battle Creek (KAR in BC), Kalamazoo Area Runners, and the KAR in BC Beyond Half Marathon Training Facebook pages on Saturday morning. We may also opt to revise a course at the last minute if a route is determined to be treacherous due to weather conditions.
